IPL 2023: Indian Premier League There is still about three months left for the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but all the teams have started making strategies. In the recent auction, the teams have bought players according to their strategy and tried to build a strong team. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who are in search of the first title, have also bought some good players in the auction. RCB had bought two English players in the auction, who are going to give a lot of strength to the team.
Will Jacques and Topley be able to make RCB champions?
RCB bought English fast bowler Reece Topley and all-rounder Will Jacques in the auction. Jacques has experience of playing 102 T20 matches in which he has scored 2532 runs at an average of 29.10. During this, he has scored one century and 20 half-centuries. In bowling, he has taken 23 wickets at an average of 25.47, in which taking four wickets for 15 runs has been his best performance. Topley has played 131 T20 matches so far and has taken 168 wickets at an average of 22.01. Taking four wickets for 20 runs has been his best performance.
How can both players be useful to the team?
Apart from RCB captain Faf du Plessis, Josh Hazlewood is also set to play. If Glenn Maxwell remains fully fit, he will also be a part of the playing eleven. In such a situation, Will Jacques can strengthen the middle order. If the performance of any player other than du Plessis is not good, then Topley can also get a chance because the bowling of the team always proves to be weak.
Royal Challengers Bangalore bought these players in the auction- Sonu Yadav (20 Lakh), Avinash Singh (60 Lakh), Rajan Kumar (70 Lakh), Manoj Bhandage (20 Lakh), Will Jacques (3.2 Crore), Himanshu Sharma (20 Lakh), Reece Topley (1.9 Crore).
